Cossack Dancing

Would love to watch Cossack dancing when we go to Russia. We will be in St Petersburg and Moscow .
So far I have only seen one company that shows this dancing.
Does anyone know where the best place is to find this entertainment?

Dear Steliana,

Thank you for posting on our website.

As I currently live in Saint Petersburg I can only recommend you companies that operates in the city. I don't know Moscow but I am sure they might have Cossack Dancing Show there too.

Regarding Saint Petersburg the only place I know and the number one place to go for such a show is at the Nikolaevsky Palace. Almost every day inside the palace they run the popular show "Feel Yourself Russian". Usually the show starts at 7pm and it lasts 2 hours.

The show give you an overview on
the history and cultural traditions of Russia throughout the art of dancing and acting, which includes the famous Cossack Dancing, and more.

Along with the show you can also enjoy a small buffet with drinks and snacks. Tickets are pretty much expensive but in my opinion they are worth your money if you're looking for a unique experience.

I am saying this based on my experience. I went there last year and overall the show was nice and well run, though plenty of tourists.
