Letter of Confirmation From Hotel for Your Russian Stay!

If we book through booking.com as suggested, is this booking confirmation enough for our visa requirement or do we then have to contact the hotel separately to get the necessary document for our visa application?

Hello Mary,

Thank you for stopping by and post your comment.

In regard to your question, the booking confirmation left by booking.com or any other hotel searching tool or platform online providing accommodation is not enough for applying for a Russian visa.

Once you have booked your hotel on the web you must contact the hotel you have chosen and ask them to provide you with an invitation letter to support your visa application. The invitation letter may cost you less than 10USD. There are also third party agency doing that but I don't recommend them.

If you need more information on that or anything else just get in touch with us before you come

Hope it helps!
