For visitors who enjoy staying in quiet surroundings with only a bridge that separates them from the bustling city center, we love recommending Vasilievsky Island. The scenic waterways, spectacular bridges and colorful ferry boats cruising or docked along the banks of the river are truly a picturesque sight. And for our valued readers seeking a small and fashionable, yet informal inn that offers a home-style atmosphere, we love to recommend the Prestige.

Founded in 2009, you'll find traditional Russian hospitality in clean, comfortable accommodations that offer a great base from which to explore Russia's northern capital. All of the 9 rooms and 10 apartments have private bathrooms and the “Comfort Rooms” feature a Jacuzzi bath. Guest rooms have desks for a convenient work space, free internet access, air conditioning, in-room safes, kitchenettes, and satellite TV.

A tasty breakfast buffet is available every morning from 7:00-10:00 (sometimes earlier) for a small surcharge and the 24-hour front desk ensures all questions can be quickly answered by friendly staff who are also multi-lingual in French, English, Italian and Russian.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk to Vasileostrovskaya Metro Station, 20-minutes to the Sportivnaya Metro Station and 30-minutes to downtown St. Petersburg and the Palace Square on Nevsky Prospekt.

Standard: 25 m2 twin or double room with a possibility to dispose an extra bed. It includes fridge, TV, phone, Wi-fi, mirror, 2 chairs, 2 armchairs, wardrobe, safe, 2 tables,  a peg, a lamp, a window. Bathroom with a bath. Breakfast is included. We recommend this type of room for 2 guests!

Comfort: 20 m2 twin or double room. It includes fridge, TV, phone, Wi-fi, mirror, 2 chairs, 1 armchair, bureau , safe, a table,  a peg, a lamp, a window. Bathroom with a  Jacuzzi bath. Breakfast is included.  We recommend this type of room for 2 guests!

Deluxe Room: 35 m2 room with a king size bed. It includes kitchen corner with crockery and fridge, wide TV, phone, WiFi, mirror, 3 chairs, 2 armchairs, wardrobe, safe, 2 tables,  a peg, lamps, a window, air condition. Bathroom with a  hydro massage (Jacuzzi style) and bath. Breakfast is included. We recommend this type of accommodation for couples.

Studio Apartment: 20 m2 room with a double bed, 2 chairs, table, wardrobe, safe, TV, WiFi and telephone plus kitchen and bathroom. Extra bed upon request. We recommend this type of accommodation for business travellers or people who love to cook on their own.

Family Suite Room: 30 m2 room with a double bed, 2 chairs, table, huge wardrobe, safe, TV, WiFi and telephone plus kitchen and separate bathroom with big bath. Extra bed upon request. We recommend this type of accommodation for travellers looking for more space and their own entrance.
