WHITELISTING
How to Make Sure You Get Our E-mail

Welcome to St Petersburg Essential Guide - Your Best Travel Guide to Russia

Wondering WHY you did not hear anything from us? If so read on...

To stop the ever growing flood of spam (ie. unsolicited e-mail), ISPs (f.i. comcast.net, earthlink.net), mail services (f.i. Hotmail) and Mail Clients (f.i. Outlook, Eudora) are using filters to try and keep spam out of your inboxes. However, the algorithms to figure out what mail is spam (and what is not) are extremely complex.

Because of this, they accidentally filter out e-mail that you do want to receive.

It’s really a matter of the good suffering from the bad!

You must keep spam out. We understand that. But because of this we cannot guarantee you'’ll actually receive our response to your e-mail message to us. The filter may keep it from you, and we have no way of knowing that you didn't receive it... nor do you have a way of knowing that we sent it.

WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT THIS?

To make sure that our e-mail is not deleted or filtered into a "junk" folder, please "whitelist" us by adding the following email addresses...

info@st-petersburg-essentialguide.com

davide@st-petersburg-essentialguide.com

anastasia@st-petersburg-essentialguide.com

... to your list of trusted senders/your address book/contact list (in your e-mail software) and to your ISP/e-mail service's whitelist.

This way, the filters will know that you want to receive this e-mail.

Thank you for taking the time to do this!
